We live in a world that runs on to-do lists. It makes sense that when we step into healing, whether through Nutrition Response Testing, lymphatic care, or simply trying to feel better, we bring that same mindset.

But your body isn’t a project to be completed. It’s a relationship to be nurtured.

Healing doesn’t happen on a timeline.

Some days, you’ll feel energized and empowered. Other days, symptoms may flare up, and you might question whether anything is working. That’s not failure, that’s your body doing the deep work. Healing isn’t linear, and it’s rarely tidy. It loops and spirals. It asks for patience and presence. And most of all, it asks you to listen.

Perfectionism can sneak into healing, too.

I see it all the time. Thoughts like:

  1. “I should be further along by now.”
  2. “If I just stick to everything perfectly, I’ll get better.”
  3. “Other people seem to heal faster; what’s wrong with me?”

If you’ve felt this, you’re not alone. The truth is, healing requires connection over perfection.

What if you approached your body with curiosity instead of criticism?

Try asking:

  1. What is my body trying to tell me today?
  2. What does support look like in this season?
  3. Can I trust my body, even in its discomfort?

Your body is not broken. It’s not behind. It’s communicating in the only way it knows how. And the more gently you listen, the more it will trust you back.

Let your healing be personal.

You don’t have to explain your journey. You don’t need to prove your progress. You are allowed to rest, regroup, and re-enter the process as many times as it takes. If you’re feeling discouraged or unsure, I just want to remind you that healing takes time. And that’s okay. You’re not on a deadline. You’re in a relationship with your body. And you’re doing better than you think.

With care,

Rochelle
